What’s Happening on the Hill: A February 2024 Photo Collection
This month on “The Hill,” has been bustling with activity, from career fairs and Valentine’s Day Functions to Black History Month celebrations and much more! We’re looking forward to an early spring and many more opportunities and events ahead here at the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.
February may be the shortest month of the year, but there is still plenty to do and see at the University of Arkansas.
“Campus is alive with activity this month, and I could not be more impressed with all our outstanding students, faculty, and staff members have been able to accomplish this semester,” said Kathryn Sloan, interim dean of Fulbright College. “I want to urge students to get involved, both by giving back to our campus community and by fostering connections that will last for them far beyond graduation.”
Austin Brown, an intern with the Fulbright College Communications and Creative Services team, has compiled another exceptional photo collection to showcase the beauty of the Fulbright College and U of A community.

The misty conditions on campus had Old Main playing a game of hide-and-seek.

The Black Excellence Art exhibit featured several “cutting-edge” works from campus creatives.
Strumming into Spring
Students are enjoying the warm weather we’ve been having by spending time outdoors, making time for hobbies and taking in the beauty of campus.

Three members of the Department of Psychological Science are putting “mind over matter” to finish this semester strong.
May the Force be With You
The campus community, alongside several law enforcement officials, recently gathered to celebrate Captain Gary Crain, a dedicated officer who served with the UAPD for more than 45 years before retiring this month.

Though the future may seem foggy, the Fulbright College Family is here to “light” the way to success.
