The Department of Theatre recently kicked off its 2025-26 season earlier this fall with Twilight Bowl and continues with four more shows in the upcoming months.

Twilight Bowl – SEPT. 26 – OCT. 5, 2025

What defines success? Six women in a bowling alley on their last night together search for the answer. A celebration for one and the final night of freedom for another. All of them sit in the strange calm before their lives change forever, wondering if they will ever truly become the people they imagined. At the Global Campus Theatre.
Little Women – NOV. 7 – 16, 2025
Music by Jason Howland. Lyrics by Mindi Dickenstein. Book by Allan Knee.
The musical adaptation based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, this story revolves around the lives of four sisters trying to define themselves during the time period of the Civil War. A powerful musical with a large story to tell and an even larger cast! At the University Theatre at the Fine Arts Center.
ArkType – FEB. 20 – 28, 2026
Be the first to see new works by Arkansas playwrights, including University of Arkansas students and faculty. Join us for a night of ingenuity and originality as you witness the first readings of a host of new plays written by local playwrights. At the Global Campus Theatre.
Peter and the Starcatcher – APR. 11 – 19, 2026

Based on the best-selling novel, go on a journey full of whimsy and adventure. Follow along with a band of young boys that are trying to make it home after being captured by the evil King Zarboff. Finding new friends, treasure, and even pirates along the way, this play brings out the inner child in all of us. At the Global Campus Theatre.
Evolutions – APR. 24 – 26, 2026
Closing our fourth year of the Movement Dance Company at the University of Arkansas’ campus this show will explore the progression and transformation of movement, both personal and collective, echoing how we have evolved over time and how individuals or communities grow through movement. At the University Theatre at the Fine Arts Center.
