New National TV Spot Debuts: Imagine What’s Possible
The U of A is debuting a new national television spot, encouraging potential students to imagine what’s possible at the university by providing a glimpse into what life is like on campus and in the region.
The 30-second commercial, Imagine What’s Possible, is scheduled to make its national debut during ESPNU’s telecast of the Arkansas-UAPB game Thursday, Aug. 29. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m.
But you can get a sneak peek of the new spot on YouTube now.
“Prospective students who visit for the first time are often surprised with the beauty, opportunities and overall experience the U of A offers,” said Mark Rushing, associate vice chancellor for university relations. “We hope we’ve captured some of that energy in this spot by showing, not telling, a little bit about the university.”
The new spot features an upbeat track performed by the Razorback Marching Band, with a few members of the band’s drumline making an appearance in the video.
“We’re very appreciative of the band’s help with the spot, couldn’t have done it without them,” said Jennifer Holland, senior director of marketing communications for university relations. “And kudos to our outstanding video team for all the hard work they put into this effort. It really shows.”
Ben Goodwin, managing producer of video production for university relations, produced the spot along with videographers Brian Petty, Tyler Woessner and Kyle Yazzie.
The commercial will be shown during televised Razorback sporting events on networks such as ABC, ESPN and the SEC Network, as well as streamed Razorback games on ESPN+ and SECN+.
