Main Hill Media Named Best of Show at 2023 ACP Convention
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Main Hill Media, the student-run advertising agency on campus, won first place for Best of Show in the Advertising Media Kit category at the 2023 Associated Collegiate Press Convention in Atlanta. The agency was also named as a finalist for the Innovation Pacemaker Award.
Crafted during the summer by Riley Atkinson, manager for Main Hill Media, the kit serves as a powerful tool in illustrating the agency’s capabilities and tells the story of the agency’s products, services and marketplace.
The Associated Collegiate Press also recognized the agency among eight Innovation Pacemaker Award finalists. Main Hill’s Campus Influencer Program garnered acclaim for daring, out-of-the-box thinking to enhance service to their customers, readers and communities.
“I’m incredibly honored to receive two prestigious awards at the ACP convention,” Atkinson said. “The Main Hill Media team’s tireless dedication ensures we provide the best possible work for our clients. I’m proud to work for an agency that exemplifies hard work and represents student media exceptionally well.”
The influencer program was launched in 2023 to help clients meet their marketing goals and earn money for student media. This groundbreaking initiative connects clients, including TheatreSquared, Feltner Brothers and ReWired Fest, with campus content creators and fosters valuable relationships.
In addition to the influencer program, Main Hill offers ad sales for student media outlets; photography and videography services; graphic design for social media, flyers and logos; street team promotions; and social media management. They have worked with a variety of clients, including Amazon Prime Student, Walton Arts Center and FORMAT Festival. As manager, Atkinson oversees each section of staff, communicates with clients and brainstorms ideas for growth.
