Giving Thanks: Thanks to Scholarship, Economics Major is Another Step Closer to Goal of Becoming a Teacher

This November, members of our Fulbright College Family are sharing expressions of gratitude, letters of thanks and their appreciation for those who have helped make their educational journey possible.

Activities/Interests: Animal rescue volunteer, teaching, swimming, reading, and walking my dogs.   

Career Aspirations: I plan to become a teacher.

Dear Mr. Burns  

I am honored to have been recognized by the Robert Jerry Burns Scholarship Endowment. Thank you so much for your very generous gift!    

I am a senior economics major in the Fulbright College. I am planning to graduate this fall. I hope to become a teacher after graduation.  

I am extremely grateful for this scholarship and I will be putting it toward food and rent.  

Thank you for helping me achieve my educational goals!
