Fulbright College Celebrates 2020 Scholars Who Graduated With a 4.0 GPA

More than 4,830 students graduated this spring from the University of Arkansas, with more than a fourth of those new alumni coming from the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

However, only 45 of these new Fulbright College alumni graduated after maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA and completing at least half of their coursework with the U of A.

This group was recently honored on the college’s 2020 Spring Commencement websiteduring the college’s virtual celebrations.

“At the best of times this group of students would be extraordinary in what they’ve accomplished,” said Todd Shields, dean of Fulbright College. “Now, with the unprecedented turn this last semester took, our Class of 2020 4.0 graduates are even more impressive and inspiring! They make us so very proud and we know that whatever the future holds next for them, they are ready for it and will do great things.”
