Fifteen Fulbright College Students, Faculty and Alumni Receive 2022 Artists 360 Awards
Fifteen students, faculty and alumni from departments across the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences are among 26 Northwest Arkansas artists selected for grants from the Mid-America Arts Alliance as part of the group’s 2022 Artists 360 Awards.
Artists 360, a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance, made possible through the support of the Walton Family Foundation, provides grant funding and professional development opportunities to individual artists of all disciplines in the greater Northwest Arkansas area.
Grants include learning opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills and build sustainable careers, creating a network of leading regional artists.
Fulbright College’s 2022 recipients spanned several areas of the fine arts and humanities, including those from the School of Art, the Department of English’s M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing and Translation, the Department of Music, the Department of Theatre, and the Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies Program.

- Na’Tosha De’Von, theatre acting M.F.A. alumna
- Er-Gene Kahng, music professor of violin
- Tomoko Kashiwagi, music piano and collaborative piano faculty
- Sky Maggiore, art student
- Sophia Ordaz, comparative literature and cultural studies master’s student
- Chung Park, art student
- Sabine Schmidt, creative writing and translation M.F.A. alum
- John Walch, theatre head of playwriting
