Jones is here as part of the two-week run of Theatre For One, a mobile state-of-the-art performance space designed for one actor and one audience member to encourage intimate theatre experiences in public spaces. The Department of Theatre is hosting Theatre For One as part of their ArkType Festival of New Works, running through April 29. You can experience Theatre For One at the Walton Arts Center South Lobby tonight and tomorrow night, as well as in the lobby of the UA Black Box Theater Thursday through Sunday night. It is free and open to the public. For details, including specific times that Theatre For One will be playing, please visittheatre.uark.edu/productions/theatreforone.
Both Theatre for One and Christine Jones’ visit are made possible by the McIlroy Family Visiting Professorship in the Performing and Visual Arts.
