Lindsey Aloia, associate dean for international education and associate professor of communication, has been awarded the 2023 Gerald R. Miller Book Award from The National Communication Association at the 109th Annual NCA Conference held in National Harbor, Maryland.

Aloia received this prestigious recognition for her edited collection titled The Oxford Handbook of the Physiology of Interpersonal Communication. This award is conferred by the Interpersonal Communication Division of NCA to honor the most outstanding book published within the past five years that made a significant contribution to the field of interpersonal communication.
