You matter. And no matter what your next step looks like, our Fulbright College Career Connections team wants to hear about it.
Next steps are not limited to a job. We want to hear if you are heading to graduate or professional school, planning to travel, taking a gap year, or if right now you are unsure about what you next step will be. There are no wrong answers.
Our Fulbright College Career Connections team – in partnership with the U of A Offices of Career Connections – measures these post-graduation outcomes for each of its graduating classes through the first destination survey.
The data collection for this project starts a few weeks before graduation and continues until six months after. The information students share in this survey informs the university about students’ employment, military service, volunteering, continuing education, or other plans.
This information then serves as a tool for career planning with current and future students. Each college, department, school, employer, and other campus stakeholder utilizes this data to help them prepare and a maximize resources regarding graduates.
The Offices of Career Connections shares that, “data are also reported to various organizations that rank colleges, such as US News and World Report, the College Portrait of Undergraduate Education/Voluntary System of Accountability, National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Princeton Review survey, Peterson’s Undergraduate survey, College Board Survey, and a few others.”
