Submissions Open to All for Online Community Exhibition
The University of Arkansas Museum preserves three-dimensional artifacts representing the university’s history, such as the very first computer on campus, commencement gowns, Razorback memorabilia like the pictured 1960s hog hat, and architectural features from campus buildings. In celebration of the U of A’s 150th anniversary starting in 2021, we will share a selection of them.
We also want to see your artifacts! Through April 5, submissions will be open for the community to share U of A objects on the University Museum’s website.
They don’t need to be old or an antique — just something fun or meaningful to you!
So pull out your U of A T-shirt, share your name on the Senior Walk, show off that coffee mug that’s gotten you through many late-night assignments, snap a picture of a favorite study spot on campus — whatever it is, submit it here!
The goal of Bring Your Own Artifact: Razorback Spirit is to provide an outlet for the campus community to share personal objects, hear each other’s stories, and explore the U of A Museum collections.
Many thanks are in order to the following individuals for their assistance with this program: Museum Outreach Intern Elijah Conley, Museum Advisory Council members Andrea Anderson, Ashlyn Barton, Raziel Hernandez-Batista, and Emily Snyder, and the U of A Honors College Public History Group.
